abstract = "O aquecimento global torna necess{\'a}rio o benchmarking do
tecido urbano para desenvolver pol{\'{\i}}ticas que possam
promover a resili{\^e}ncia urbana ao calor. O objetivo desta
pesquisa {\'e} identificar padr{\~o}es do tecido urbano que
produzem a retroalimenta{\c{c}}{\~a}o negativa do sistema
clim{\'a}tico urbano naturalmente. O m{\'e}todo contempla o uso
de imagens Landsat-8, para estimar e mapear a temperatura das
superf{\'{\i}}cies e suas caracter{\'{\i}}sticas espectrais
(albedo, emissividade, fra{\c{c}}{\~a}o de cobertura de
vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o e {\'{\i}}ndice de umidade por
diferen{\c{c}}a normalizada), a integra{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos dados
em um espa{\c{c}}o celular georreferenciado, an{\'a}lises de
correla{\c{c}}{\~a}o, autocorrela{\c{c}}{\~a}o e de clusters,
e identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o de zonas clim{\'a}ticas locais. A
{\'a}rea de estudos {\'e} S{\~a}o Jos{\'e} dos Campos, SP,
Brasil, onde a zona clim{\'a}tica local 3, com
constru{\c{c}}{\~o}es compactas de pequeno porte, {\'e}
predominante. A maior diferen{\c{c}}a de temperatura de
superf{\'{\i}}cie entre clusters foi 12 °C e ocorreu entre
{\'a}reas verdes e perme{\'a}veis e {\'a}reas {\'a}reas
plenamente impermeabilizadas com extensas constru{\c{c}}{\~o}es.
As an{\'a}lises permitiram inferir a depend{\^e}ncia espacial da
temperatura da superf{\'{\i}}cie, apesar da variabilidade
sazonal, indicando que ela pode ser utilizada para identificar
fatores que influenciam processos de retroalimenta{\c{c}}{\~a}o
do sistema clim{\'a}tico urbano, zonas clim{\'a}ticas locais, e
auxiliar no desenvolvimento de pol{\'{\i}}ticas de
adapta{\c{c}}{\~a}o e resili{\^e}ncia urbana ao calor.
ABSTRACT: Global warming makes urban fabric benchmarking necessary
for the development of policies that promote urban heat
resilience. This research is aimed at identifying urban fabric
patterns, which can promote the negative feedback of the urban
climate system naturally. The method includes the use of Landsat-8
satellite images to estimate and to map the land surface
temperatures and its spectral features (albedo, emissivity,
fraction vegetation cover and normalised difference moisture
index), the data integration at a cellular georeferenced space,
correlation, autocorrelation and clusters analyses and the
identification of local climate zones. The study area is S{\~a}o
Jos{\'e} dos Campos, SP, Brazil, where local climate zone 3,
where compact, small buildings predominate. The biggest difference
in surface temperature was 12 °C and was detected between areas
with permeable and shaded surfaces, associated with the presence
of trees, and fully impermeable surfaces with large buildings. The
analyses showed the spatial dependence of surface temperature,
despite seasonal variability, indicating that it can be used to
identify factors which influence feedback processes of the urban
climate system, which can help in the development of policies to
promote urban adaptation and heat resilience.",
